thats how I see it too, he has the potential to be up there with the best- but only if he beats the best of his division,,, and as far as the welterweights go floyd,,thankfully for us,,still has that to prove.. But skills wise I see no reason he cant,, we'll see
It's a true shame (especially considering his current financial status) that he's putting emphasis on the money over proving himself talent-wise. With some of the great talent out there right now, we could be witnessing some great styles matchups.
One of the best of his era. A counter-punching and defensive master with underrated toughness who has the uncanny ability to adjusts to all styles. PBF's ring IQ is probably his best asset. A true ATG who would be dominant in any era.
His talent is exceptional, he'll be rated more highly years after reirement when people forget what an arsehole he was and just remember his skill in the ring.
Agree. Also I think pbf's defense, I KNOW I GOING TO GET A LOT OF **** FOR THIS, is Overrated. I dont think he is as elusive as people claim him to be. He's more evasive IMO.
Not cherry picking is what defines a top 10 ATG. How can a fighters skills ever be truely judged if he doesn't consistantly fight the best out there?? :think
