As an Abraham fan, I'm worried about the Taylor fight....

ive got a feeling about taylor in this fight, just think that taylor can outbox AA and counterpunch him all night. what ive seen of AA he hasnt got the greatest of stamina himself (that could be to do with him struggling to make 160 lbs) we wont know until after the fight!! AA isnt such an effective pressure or active fighter to me as Froch or pavlik imo, and dont think that Taylor will run out of gas against AA. (remember a bit more killer instict from taylor and he could have gone after both pavlik(1st fight) and froch for the ko when they were down). what iam saying there is that taylor has got ko power himself,( granted 1st fight with pavlik was at 160 not 168,i just cant see AA just walking through his punches with no affect.

of what ive seen of AA iam not sold yet, and think that taylor(even todays version) is a different level of fighter to what AA has faced before, and as long as the froch loss hasnt affected him too much, i can see taylor pulling out a comfortable UD, my guess 116-112, providing there isnt an hometown decision.

Why do people keep saying this? Froch isn't a classic pressure fighter and didn't do much in the first four or five rounds against Taylor. You don't need to pressure Taylor to gas him. He gassed against Hopkins who did nothing for six rounds. He gassed against Spinks who just circled the ring. Taylor gasses because of Taylor, not because of what his opponent does. The difference is that Pavlik and Froch were able to take Taylor out after he gassed, others were not.

If he gasses against Abraham (and his career gives absolutely zero reason to suppose he won't) he gets taken out. Simple as.

I am a huge Taylor fan, and owner of the JT express train on here.

If Abraham pins him "down" and smashes the **** out of him, Taylor will not even be awake to hear the ten count. :-(

About AA and Pavlic all I know is the fight before the last one AA said he wanted Pavlic, after the last one. AA said, Pavlic was not answering the phone...so in that he wanted to unify, he'd have to do it in the next higher weight.

Link....what I heard him say on TV.... You can Believe Pavlic all you want.
    I don't.
AA called out Strum...AA called out Pavlic both on TV....and Pavilic was called out before and after Hopkins.
Hopkins don't hit as hard as AA.

AA called out everyone, he wanted to unify. End of discussion.

And yes, he hits like a mother ****er, he would've laid Kelly Pavlik out cold.

Let's not forget that AA actually called out DLH in his post fight interview in his 2nd Miranda fight. Anyone remember that one? That was hilarious.

That WOULD have been hilarious, seeing DLH out cold for the first time.

    Good post man :good

I agree that Abraham's workrate (or lack of it) could really be his undoing. I think he'll likely catch one, maybe two guys for KO's, but I can't see him winning it all because of that. Maybe he'll be more active at 168, but I won't count on old dogs learning new tricks until I see it first.

Kessler's the safe pick (he's my choice also), but in a format like this, it's only a matter of time until someone gets hot and can make a serious run throwing in an upset or two in the process. That's part of what makes it so intriguing.

My biggest concern right now is that Ward and Kessler don't get cut in their warmup fights.

I laughed at that one about as hard as I laughed at Vic Darchynian calling out Jermain Taylor.

Ya, I remember that. Hilarious! It just generally pisses me off when posters refuse to take an honest look at the facts. Sauerland and Abraham never made any serious attempt to make a fight with Pavlik. If they would have, we would know the details. No one has ever published any details because they simply do not exist.

The idea that a kid who fought Miranda, fought back to back fights with Taylor, chased hard after a Calzaghe fight, fought Hopkins, and turned down 4 lesser opponents to make a fight with williams, somehow ducked Abraham is ludicrous.

As proprietor of the JT express, and self confessed "huge JT fan", I find this quite an odd statement. Are you suggesting that JT can't take any clean, flush shots from Abraham for the entire 12 rounds, 'cause if he does, then its lights out? :think

If Arthur catches up to him, I am pretty sure our man is going to end up unconscious in a corner, limped up like he was against Kelly Pavlik.
Arthur is not a joke when it comes to one punch power, his hooks are possibly the most dangerous punch there is anywhere between 160-175, and that's real.

The way he puts people to sleep with that awkward left hook/uppercut has me worrying about JT's safety. We also know Arthur can swing his right hand like a steel bat, he almost put Edison Miranda to sleep with that first real right hand landed. I don't think Jermain goes down from that, but I have a feeling he'll back up like he's done with various different foes (winky, pavlik, hopkins, froch) and when that happens, Abraham will hit him with some freakish left hook.

I hope that I am wrong about this fight, but I have a bad feeling Jermain will suffer a brutal, clean knockout.

If Taylor wins and proves me wrong, I will be cheering in joy, don't get me wrong.

Publishing details? Once again you are full of ****. Just because Sauerland published the STurm he know has to publish every offer? And why doesn't it go both ways? Where is the offer from Team Arum/Pavlik? Why don't you link us some proof yourself?

Pavlik is the middleweight champion of the world. Abraham had a title he won after Pavlik's victim vacated it. AA was the challenger. Challengers make offers, not champions, dumb ****!
