Why do you have ODLH ahead of Whitaker i think that hw and tito are even and you can call it either way hoever i would personally have tito a close second but have no real problem with people having ODLH as 2 instead of tito as it is more or less 50/50. but i just want an explanation over Whitaker its not me havinf ago i just would like to know why you think ODLH has a better resume

The question asked about RESUME, not skill. Based on resumes, Oscar is above those guys. If you asked me about plain skill or talent, I'd probably give it to Whitaker.

Oscar is getting a lot more credit after he retired for some reason. I'm Oscar fan but if we take the results of the matches as they really are Oscar losing two times againts Mosley for examples is a bit strange to put Oscar ahead of him the same for Tito. Anyway for me Oscar beat at least Tito clearly.

If you were a true Oscar fan you'd know that Oscar beat Mosley in the rematch, and if you're one of the very few who actually scored it for Mosley, a true Oscar fan would not turn a blind eye to Mosley's steroid use during the second fight.

Also, if you were schooled in boxing and history you would be able to realize that a fighter can lose to another fighter and still be ranked higher.

By your logic Sergio Mora and Vernon Forrest are higher than Mosley and DLH since Forrest beat Mosley and Mosley beat Oscar, but Mora holds a win over Forrest and vice versa.

    It's okay, you're learning. :good

    Whitaker (Beat better, prime opposition)
Oscar De La Hoya (Beat better names)
Shane Mosley (Beat a PRIME De La Hoya and currently is beating PRIME fighters)
Tit Trinidad (Beat great names but not as clear or dominate when against a great fighter)

I saw trinidad vs vargas and trinidad ruined vargas, he totally destroyed him in that final round and i knew he wont be the same again so i'd say no he wasnt prime.

Quartey and trinidad I agree with but the rest i dont even know who they are let alone great.

You're obviously new to the sport, or not that much of a boxing fan. Choose one.

How many fighters are great, and what do you consider great?

If it's resume then Oscar of course, the guy fought every big name around his weight class for a decade, the only notable exception being Winky. However as far as ranking goes, I'd have him last out of these 4.

    Resume:

    Oscar
    Pea
    Trinidad/Mosley

    Greatness:

    Pea

    Tito
    Shane
    Oscar

If Shane picks up another coule of solid victories then he moves ahead of Tito.
