ahem..........I'd just like to be a ***** and point out I was right.

However this is one of the occasions(like Dunne v Cordoba and Rogan v Skelton) where I wish I was wrong.

But a single medal at these Championships was always going to be the most realistic outcome.

I'm glad it was Nevin that got it too. He was good enough to medal in Beijing but was unlucky with the draw.

Agree I think McGurn factor and Dunnes lessons from the past have broght up a level since the days of pickering and voronin. And Dunne will frustrate the Poonsawat. You just know Dunne won't get involved for that first round or 2 keeping well away.

The difference physically in Dunne from the Martinez loss to now is significant, he is looking a lot stronger these days. It makes me wonder why someone like McGurn wasn't brought on board a long time ago.

Ha Ha when your right your right, the mongolian delegation has been expelled from the championship except boxers and coaches because they were caught trying to bribe a ref/judge.Everyone knows it happens but how many officials accepted a bribe before this guy reported them.
Told ya we definetly need to be looking out for them.:hey

no i think its shaping up to be a good card, Hyland, ***an, fury etc i'm looking forward to seeing although it would be great if McClouskey and Katie Taylor were on the card too.

If Haughian faces a decent opponent, and Fury features...then I think its a fairly good card

I was really hoping for mcloskey, and there is no guarantee of fury fighting on the card.....
