Mosley with ease. Kostya's only edge would be his power, but Mosley negates that with his great beard.
For the difference in class between Tszyu and Hatton go watch their respective fights against Tackie. Tszyu was kind of naive to take the fight in Britain and to expect a fair fight. Hatton was a good character but if he was born anywhere but in Britain he would have been at most a solid contender. The wrestling, the mind-bogglingy biased refs who knew exactly when to break up the wrestling and when not to, the low blows, holding from behind and hitting in the face and countless other dirty tricks for which he was never deducted points etc.
You've never seen KT fight, right? KT can match or exceed Mosley's boxing skills, and his one shot power was MUCH better. Anything can happen in a world where Vince Phillips walks around, but I would take a KT in his first 10 fights, that version, over any 140 lb fighter you could name I think.
Why would you say I've never seen Tszyu fight? Hell, I seen some of his amateur fights.... But from my post what makes you think I never seen Tszyu fight??? Mosley was a speedy slugger with a lot of power at 135, and even at 147 he showed his power, I'm sure at 140 he would pack a huge punch too. Tszyu was skilled, too bad he never climbed as high as Mosley did.
ppl know he was a great boxer as an amateur, but he never showed it at the top level as a professional. If anything Tsyzu seemed to regress technically, relying on power. He'd be outgunned at that game, in this matchup.
Bad style match up for Tsyzu. Mosley will be in his face all night, clinching and making it an ugly fight. Tsyzu wouldn't be given the space needed to load up his right hand. Mosley would win by late tko.
KT slaughters Pryor and probably beats JCC at 140 as well. He was a unified champ for some years, and the recognized champ for nearly 10 holding down his division. All due respect to Shane and his accomplishments, but I personally respect that more than division hopping.
The hell he didn't. His first 10 or 15 fights were masterpieces. The biggest knock on KT is that he stayed an amateur too long, and left a lot of his potential pro career behind when he finally gave it up. Later in his career, say KT after 2001 I would make Shane a favorite but early I would bet the house on KT.
:rofl:rofl Do you know anything about styles and match ups? Pryor and JCC are both stylistic nightmares for Zoo who needed range to get off his right hand, if he thought hatton and Phillips brought pressure he hasn't seen ****. Neither guy would give him range and would both pressure the **** outta him both probably stopping him.:deal
