Another thing we have to consider, is how the fighters from that era would have faired with todays equiptment the gloves being bigger lesser rounds etc.....

so its hard to really say that Floyd is full of **** when the eras are totally different. and to be honest the fighters that Floyd fought and beat we can validate those guys we can research who they are and watch film of who they fought and beat, we cant do that with all the ATGs of the past... and if we did we might just be shocked.

Neither Floyd or manny is on the level of SRR...

Robinson was 85-0 as an amateur with 69 of those victories coming by way of knockout, 40 in the first round. He turned professional in 1940 at the age of 19 and by 1951 had a professional record of 128-1-2 with 84 knockouts.he was undefeated at welterweight.

Floyd just suffers from the same complex Kanye West suffers from ..Too much money and too many yes men ..Mayweather couldn't be as great as any of the above mentioned on their worst day !

Exactly my point, we have a strict commission back then more than likely you had a fighter taking out padding or putting stuff into their gloves, they had much smaller gloves I think 6 ounces even heavyweights.

They had more time to work, rather than 12 3 min rounds, then you had the race factor as well during that time period!
I honestly think that Todays fighters are better, and they should be as the sport evolves so should the fighters.

Sugar Ray had 200 fights... 173 wins, and over 100 knock outs!!!

How can you compare that to a guy with only 39 fights?

IMO Ray would have wiped the floor with little Floyd.
