Can you present how many divisions the above boxers fought? At most I'm guessing is 7 or 8 divisions... .
Duran, for example, fought at: Jr. Featherweight, Featherweight, Jr. Lightweight, Lightweight, Jr. Welterweight, Welterweight, Light Middleweight, Middleweight, Super Middleweight. 9 divisions. More or less like Pacquiao. Toney fought in 5 divisions. Jones fought in five divisions (or four). Charles fought in 3 divisions. Langford, P4P the top dog, fought in 4 divisions. Rosembloom fought in 3 or 4 divisions. Take in mind that less divisions existed at that time.
9 divisions, that's great... Duran is a certified great boxer... I count PAC fought at 10 different weight divisions including those 1 or 2 fights at super fly and bantam... PAC is also a 6 division titliest and 4-time lineal champ... .
Yep... fighting in 9 or 10 different divisions is great... True measure tho is getting at least a title in that division... How many division Duran has titles out of the 9 divisions he fought at?? .
what, eze aka pumba is also here. and nallege, the all mighty laughing hyena from the african sahara is also here. in tandem. where the hell is fungoid danny_rand when you need him.
Hearns has the beating of Pacquiao in the weight jump accomplishment. Welter to Cruiser. Much more impressive.
i am not too sure if you remember how tall that guy was. he was like a paul williams campaigning in the welters mi amigo.
well, if height does not matter, people would be clamoring for a pac-williams don't you think. the hitman hearns was a freak of nature in some ways. just ask duran. altough hearns himself got the whooping from hagler. the thing is, what makes pac weight jumping more impressive is because the really has a small frame. above 140, he is truly small. against hatton, he looked obviously smaller yet manhandled hatton. hearns had the physical attributes to be able to jump that high whereas pac relied on talent, skill and sheer determination to do so.
