That was the dumbest thing I ever heard. There are not four different types of jabs. There are different ways to use the jab, but not four different type of a jab LOL. You might be able to get away with saying there is the str8 jab, and the up jab.
Well done. I can't believe it took this far into the thread for someone to mention Joe Louis. Not only did he have power but speed & timing. I don't believe anyone mentioned Ali either..............not the most powerful jab but extremely fast and from varied angles. sefo was one of my idols when i was doing taekwondo. thing is that his defence was what was better than his chin. rarely was he tagged in his prime he either bombed them out or shoulder rolled the kick or countered the punch. but his chin was just an above average chin to me. he has been knocked cold a few times from avergae punchers. ray sefo getting destroyed in a boxing ring where reach is a matter of inches to your advantage it hink brought it home that he couldnt get out the way anymore.
Strongest jab? Probably Sonny Liston, Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko, etc. Best jab...Probably Tommy Hearns.
Dude you don't have to knock someone out with your jab to have a strong jab. just cause you got a knockout with da jab don't mean a thing, now what means something is who got knocked out with the jab.
