On the undercard of Arreola vs. Vitali. Boswell is a pretty damn good fighter despite what a lot of people think. Ustinov is also looking promising. Who takes this fight and how?
Boswell has some good talent and skills. Unfortunately he could never get any big names to fight him.. and the one time he finally managed to fighta a big name in McCline he was knocked the **** out.
Hmm....think I'll go with the Boz on this one. Although I have to be honest, Ustinov's already made it farther than I thought he would've, so it wouldn't be the first time he surprised me. Interesting fight.
He may be getting on in years, but Boswell still has something to offer the heavyweight division. He could easily be top 10 imho.
Haven't seen Boswell fight in a long time, but I remember him having very good speed and quickness for a heavyweight. He's a very athletic man... but I've never seen Ustinov before??? :? So I can't comment.

Boswell was doing a good job early, outboxing the former WBO heavyweight title challenger Jameel McCline. McCline turned the fight around with a solid right uppercut to the chin late in the ninth round which Boswell never seemed to recover from. In the corner he seemed exhausted. A rejuvenated McCline came out quickly in the 10th and decked Boswell with a vicious four-punch combination at 0:27. After going down, Boswell attempted to stay away, threw no punches, and clinched incessantly until the referee had seen enough at 2:07. McCline was behind on two scorecards 86-85 at the time of stoppage. 53 seconds from being undefeated.
Despite being a KO1 victory that Long fight actually shows more downside to Ustinov than anything. Long is terrible - this version should have actually been put away about a minute sooner. He also shouldn't have hit Ustinov at all, let alone a few times. Roman Greenberg obviously didn't turn out to be world-class, but he was a B level fighter (and on that night 100x more game than a chewed-up spit-out never-was Julius Long) and Boz obliterated him. I like Cedric the Entertainer by mid-round KO, actually.
This. Boswell's speed and precision, despite being older, nick it for me - and experience is going to come into play as well. It isn't like Ustinov is a young lion either...he didn't turn pro until he was nearly 30.
