Judah was out-boxing Kostya badly until he got knocked out...

I think Shane would out-box him from distance, then knock him out later - got too much skills for Kostya(imo) - who ain't even that great

Learn something about boxing and watch some Tszyu fights and then come back, champ. Most experts thought that because of his superior speed, beard and his power Mosley would overpower Cotto with his suspect chin.

Judah was outboxing Cotto (147) and he was outboxing Mayweather (KD by Judah) as well and unlike in those fights in the Tszyu fight he was on his bike by round 2 and that was at his best weight (140).

KT never had trouble with body shots and he was a lethal body puncher himself who stopped many boxers with body punches.

Shane couldnt make 140 thats why he passed it up and went straight to 47. When he was fighting at 35 he was coming in on fight night as high as 159lbs. He was simply too big for the weight. Plus DLH had moved to 47 and Shane was chasing the big money and the bigger bouts up at 47 for Californian bragging rights. Back then 140 was pretty insignificant.

Exactly...it was the best thing possible for his career to move to 147.

140 would have been a nice feather in his cap...but he has gone on to do much bigger things..get bigger scalps, get bigger purses.

Stop talking rubbish. Thats some pathetic maths. Firstly Leija was giving Kostya all he could handle. Secondly Leija was well known in boxing circles for his durability. If i recall correctly he damamged his ear in that fight and hence why his corner stopped the fight. By the time Leija fought Kostya he was spent goods. His best days were down at featherweight. Now go away and actually watch Shanes fight with Leija. He knocked him down multiple times and it was a one sided beat down.

I personally cannot decide between two of my favorites.

    It comes down to this

-Can Shane avoid getting into a slugfest and leave himself open to Kostya, who had pinpoint accuracy and timing?

-Can Kostya avoid getting lit up by Shane's right hands when he paws that range finder jab?

Shane can be deterred by a good left jab, of which Kostya has shown ala the Ben Tackie fight. Then again, Tackie is no Shane Mosley.

What maths? l was replying to a poster who said that Tszyu will be destroyed in 6 rounds max. I was never comparing their fights against Leija. And Leija wasn't giving Tszyu all he could handle. Yes he frustrated Tszyu in the first couple of rounds but in the last 2-3 rounds Tszyu established his jab and slowed Leija down with punishing body punches. I don't think the fight would have gone on for more than 9-10 rounds had Leija continued.

Shane has only ever been hurt once. And a concussive headbutt preceded that. Shane would walk Kostya down thats real. Kostya doesnt have the style or power to hurt Shane. Shane decimates smaller fighters. Its only guys with length who are bigger and have good jabs that will give him problems ala Winky and Forrest.

Kostya was easy to hit. Shane had speed in abundance at the lower weight. Maybe more so than Meldrick Taylor. Shane by KO in under 5 rounds.

Not to mention Shane was a murderous body puncher and I KNOW Kostya hated bodypunches. Vince Phillips set up his finale w them.

Cotto? Mosley had the advantage in height and especially in reach.

    :-(

How many guys did Shane stop inside 5 anywhere as good as Kostya? I tell ya a hell of a lot of guys clearly inferior in just about every way lasted longer..quite a bit longer.

Shane beats him...Shane probably stops him. But inside 5, no chance.

Kostya is at his best from about round 3-8...after that he gets a bit puffed and fades..This is where Shane takes control.

Inside 5 though...thats just dictionary definition hatin.
