I have updated the schedule with Munroe's next fight. Plus, there is finally a fight at super-flyweight happening :happy
Clinton will be dropped out of the light-heavy rankings, so someone has to go at 10th position. I have came up with these two candidates, but I will let you guys pick - or you could just choose someone else :good Carl Dilks (12-1) Billy Boyle (12-2)
Well, they're fighting each other soon so maybe just put Dilks ahead for the time being until they fight?:think EDIT: Why not just keep the current 10 and just have no Champ for the time being? That said, Cleverly is obviously the best at 175 on current form, and now Woods has retired, in the UK anyway so I understand it if people don't feel the same way.
well Clev beat the number 2 in Oakey earlier so by default he has no other boxer to makea claim to being best British boxer so i say make him champ
Plus, these rankings aren't as strict as the world ones - there is a champ in every division anyway :good
Well at least we know from the quote I did above that you can at least put them on the same page if you want to:-(. It would have been better, if they had to be 'unstickied', if they'd been kept seperate, IMO. ****- I loved the rankings threads:|. At least there are a lot more Brit fights coming up soon to improve the rankings, though.
Have the rankings on the first page. Edit the original post, and go back to it when the rankings change.
Would it not all be a bit too cramped though? I would have been happy with just keeping the Brit rankings as a sticky and having a link in the Brit thread to the World thread. Everything was altered too hastily.
I'd advocate this as well as there's no point chopping them up again. Just put them on the same page- at least then they'll all be in one spot. Just put the World Rankings above the Brit ones:good. Also, love the new avvy, Hoya:good. Someone posted a really funny pic of Naz in shades the other day as well.
I filled in some of the gaps in the schedule thread - Olu, Dallas and Sexton's opponents have all been announced. Sexton's opponent has one of the most deceiving records I have seen - his record 17-7-1, which is pretty good, apart from the fact he has lost to any fighter with a winning record...in fact it is even worse than that, he hasn't beat a fighter that has won a fight! Pires defeated opponents combined records: 0-16 :-( Completely taking the **** when Sexton, who is a touted prospect in the lower divisions, is fighting this guy in his 8th fight.
or just keep this one as the british thread and add a link to the world thread in the opening post. its way too cumbersome having both in one thread - especially now septembers here and there'll be loads more movement and activity.
