    i agree 100% with matador and uli on this.
    tito and oscar might be remembered as a tier under great, but damn they didn't die wondering how good they could have been.

    As far as Tito goes I don't think he gets enough credit for taking on Yory Boy Campas who was 56-0 at the time while Tito was only 23-0. And many people thought Campas was going to be the next representative of Mexico like Chavez once was., even though he did'nt pan out that way I think you still have to appreciate the risk that was involved for Tito.

    His point is that a prime Mayorga was at 147 around the Forrest-Spinks time.

    Mayorga vs Tito was not in his best physical form. He was battling severe legal issues in Nicaragua, and was fighting 13 pounds heavier than his best weight JUST ONE YEAR previous.

    It was obvious his power at 160 was non existent compared to what he had at 147.
