Really good question. I'd say something like

    1. Whitaker
    2. DLH
    3. Mosley
    4. Trinidad

But all close. And Mosleys not done. If he beats Clottey and one of the 3 main welters Pac, Floyd or Cotto, he instantly moves to the top in my book. Whitaker has Chavez on his resume right now, which just sets him apart from the rest

We're not talking about Whitaker, Ramirez, or Chavez.

We're talking about de le Hoya who LOST to Trinidad.

    Get your FACTS straight.

Oscar lost to Mosley in the rematch.

    Learn to deal with it.

And Floyd is also naturally smaller than Oscar.
Jones is naturally smaller than Ruiz.
Holyfield is naturally smaller than Douglas.

Size has **** to do with boxing skillz.

The only ignorant wanna be boxing fan here is your dumb ass, dumb ass...

Trinidad wasn't interested in a track meet and the Golden Girl is NOTORIUS for playing games with the contract weight. Trinidad was having none of it and rightfully so...

Either you're a bigger ****ing idiot than I initially thought or the dlh nut must taste like fine wine.

That card is re-god-damn-diculous and has dlh nut drinker written all over it.

Thanks for confirming what I already knew and letting the whole world see for itself....

Then explain the wide margins in the Whitaker and Quartey fights?

EVERYONE agrees that those fights were close - yet some of the scorecards had Oscar up by wide margins.

    Care to explain, Genius?

I consider it a complement when a ****** accuses me of being stupid.

Congratulations on being the first place winner @ the Special Olympics, dip ****...

Oscar has the best resume of the group, by a pretty big margin.

Not at all, just a question out of curiosity:good But will you admit Cotto, Margarito, Berto, Mosley, Clottey, Williams, even guys like Collazo, Cintron, or Quintana are the true rulers of this division and the bigger test for Mayweather than those names mention above?:good

Juanma has fought good opposition so far, he has made some of them easier than they should have. I believe this easy fight is just a precaution for what next year is all about. Doesnt make any sense for him to go fighting back to back to back tough opponents.

I had DLH winning comfortably against Trinidad. The Whitaker and Quartey fights were both tight and could have gone either way, I had the Sweet Pea fight a draw and Quartey winning by a point. Still alot of DLH's scorecards were messed up either for or against him, Sturm being another case in point.

He does bro. Just look at their resumes, Oscar is the deepest, even after his losses.

Interesting enough, of the top 10 fighters of this decade, Oscar's fought 5 of them......... (Tito, BHop, Shane, Manny and Floyd) ,even he loss ALL of them....

So resume wise, I'd have to give it to him

What? Honestly... just considering their resume... how is this even close? It isn't. DLH by a landslide.

Good point you bring up in your top five. Oscar did fight all of them and lose. The controversy aside, how many of those guys fought each other. Tito and Hopkins only. With Hopkins being second to DLH in resume imo.

    mosley needs more names?

above 147 he fought all the dangerous names around, high risk low reward fights, including rematches ( i have counted 8 champions). if that is not impressive, then i dont know what is, i dont understand why he does not get credit
    oscar 2x former champ
    vargas 2x former champ
    winky 2x former champ
    vernon forrest 2x former champ
    cotto former champ
    margarito former champ
    collazo former champ
    clottey
    mayorga former champ

    and below 135, he was 35 and 0 with 32 ko's
