This content is protected Maybe I'm tripping, but is he not taking this fight with Vitali seriously or what? For somebody to make histroy, he sure is not taking advantage of this opportunity...Can somebody please enlighten me on whats going on with him...I was looking foward to him making history but damn, he's not even taking the fight seriously IMO.:verysad
:rofl That may be true...but at least he could have gotten in better shape and put forth a little bit more effort in his work ethic...I mean the fight is weeks away and he looks like he's coming in this fight with no training camp or any conditioning.
Trust me he is, HBO is running promos of him saying he will prove the critics wrong by being in-shape.....he is a ****** if he is still getting fatter.....chris will be ready, just VK is better....
Exactly...From the looks of things, he's looking for the $$$$...He probably could care less about making history...This type of attitude makes fans turn on you when you're not giving it your best.:verysad
I agree. I wonder what his weight will be. When the fight was announced and I saw his size, I knew he would not be down to 240-250 like so many said he would... I say 260-265 like I did from Day one. What a joke! These guys have no heart or commitment when it comes to getting and STAYING in shape.
My dude, I'm no rocket scientist but Chris doesnt looked like he dropped a pound off of his body...IMO he looks like he gained a little weight. Lets just say for the sake of our sport...I hope you're right about HBO.:good
Arreola does not care about boxing or being the best. That has been self evident throughout his entire career. Someone interested in being the best would train hard, come in shape...this is something Arreola has never done. It's a sign that he either lacks confidence, or is over confident... I think it's the former. He knows he has no chance, so he's not going to try. Trying takes effort, trying is not easy. Trying means giving up the Twinkies and Pizza. Arreola is going to use being out of shape as an excuse after he loses. His next big fight, they will spread rumours of "this time he's in shape" they learend this from Toney.
I wonder how much he's weighing these days? I hope he will weigh in at 230 or 235 but we all know that probably won't happen. I want nothing more than Arreola to win but by the look of that pic he doesn't look to be in tip top shape for a fight that's really only a little over 2 weeks away.
I think he will come in around 265-275...thats rather pathetic giving this is the biggest test of his career...I mean come on...If Ricky Hatton can show up in shape (with his weight gain between fights) how come Chris cant follow this same plan...I understand that some men like to drink or whatever they do in their spare time but as you touched up on in your post they should atleast be committed to show up in the best shape possible...They are pro's ya know...He's the only that needs to be blamed for this whole mess!:-(
If he comes in at 265-275 I'll lose all respect for him. He obviously woudln't be taking this fight serious and is only there for a good payday nothing more.
