    yea that would be a great co-main event. Im not sure if valero has been cleared to fight in vegas but if he does then this fight should be easy to make since both are top rank fighters.

    hopefully this time it's on for good. Valero wants a big fight and soto could be that opponent for him. The best part is he will be in the undercard of the biggest fight this year so more people will get to see him fight. This could be his big break if he beat soto he will gain more popularity and respect.

    damnit until its written in stone don't tell me this I've heard this fight was on then its off and there might be a Valero vs Linares fight early next year now it might be on again give me something solid like a source other than boxrec.

    Valero has been calling for a big fight and their momma but lets face it he needs to fight against solid opposition and Soto/Valero would be a change from his past C level fighters. I gotta a feeling that if Valero was facing Pac his "medical condition" would not be an issue
    Anyway i hope this fight materializes.

    Soto should be a good fight. If he can somehow beat soto then big money fights should come in the near future. I really hope a valero-katsidis fight happens. I would love to see 2 big punchers beat the hell out of each other.

    Katsidis is a big puncher but can't really take the heat. i think Valero Knocks him Cold in war. would be fun while it last and wil see where his chin stands at 135

    yea it should be a good fight. I'm not sure how well valero can take a shot and katsidis has KO power too. I won't be surprise if katsidis KTFO valero.

    i think Katsidis is sliding downhill and I would favor Valero to beat him but Valero is really untested and strangers things have happened in boxing

    yea but his been cleared to fight in texas so i hope las vegas can let him fight in vegas. He has 25 pro fights already so he should be good to fight.
