Honestly its pretty cut and dry as far as I can tell, AA needs to KO Taylor if he does not, common sense says he will be behind in the fight. AA is the shorter man with a low workrate Jermaine is the speedy counterpuncher with decent power.

The real question is can Taylor get a fair shake if it goes to the scorecards in Germany.

If the Bhop fights are anything to go by AA would have had just as hard a time getting a fair shake in the states.

You have been sporting some killer avatars lately. :yep

It should be fine i think. Corruptness is generally proportional to the level of exposure. With the boxing world very interested in the fight i think it should be a relatively fair outcome either way.

Could very well be academic. Abraham will likely stop him, or else Taylor will outpoint him clearly enough that it would need to be an ATG Scoring Travesty for him to not be awarded the win.

No need for the judges. Abraham is gonna stop him.

If the fight went to the cards Taylor would probably get a fair shake. This is a pretty notable tournament. Normally, under more obscure circumstances a visiting fighter could go over to Germany and get robbed and the people who happen to know about it will forget about it within a week or so. If a high-profile guy like Jermain Taylor gets shafted on the cards while fighting in an equally high-profile tournament there is going to be a lot of negative attention and criticism directed towards the German officials. In other words, expect the judges to be on their best behavior if they are needed.

There will probably be 3 us-ringside judges anyway.

Exactly. Taylor will have to decisively outpoint, outbox and stay away from Abraham in order to go 12. Taylor will be taking it round by round while Abraham will see the fight as a whole, breaking Taylor down and closing the distance as the fight goes on before inevitably knocking him out. Taylor better stick and move!

    Kessler in Oakland then ?

Finally time for US-fighters to step it up and go abroad like many foreign-fighters have done for decades.

Think it's fair to say no. He wouldn't get a fair decision fighting Froch in England either.

Germany is cool, I love the way they host fights and how fans appreciate boxing events there.

As much as I love Ward, I'd hate to see him win a decision that he doesn't deserve. Oakland can be a VERY hostile place.

i think the tourney is too big for corrupt judges to get away with biased decisions be it in Germany, England or America
