Lets say Cotto wins. Is he going to be the new p4p champ? Will the winner of Mayweather/Marquez make any impact as to the p4p standing of the winner of cotto/pac?

well most people have manny at 1 just now. beating him wouldnt automatically make cotto number one. jmm is still higher no matter what happens with floyd. if floyd blows jmm out then he'll jump straight in at number one. where cotto goes depends on what happens in the jmm fight

No, and Hatton wouldn't have become p4p champ if he'd beaten Floyd or Pac. That's not how the theoretical title with arbitrary rules works.

He'd be 2/3 depending on the outcome of the FMJ-JMM fight.

I dont think Floyd becomes no.1 if he wins against a guy that is fighting for the first time at the weight, a weight floyd is very comfortable in.

If Floyd wins and Cotto wins then Floyd will be back as #1, even if JMM wins and Cotto wins JMM will take #1 spot. Hopefully Floyd and Pac will win and can get a done deal over a huge superfight between the two for the outright p4p #1 crown.

If Cotto beats Pac-Man and Floyd convincingly disposes of Marquez...

    Mayweather will be #1
    Cotto will be #2

but it will be debatable and almost certainly set up a fight between the 2, to settle who is the legit #1

If Pac wins he's still p4p king, if PBF beats JMM then he's #2.

PBF needs to beat Pac to become #1.

Highly subjective but I don't think Cotto should be #1 if he beats Manny, I thought he lost to Clottey(Iwas there) and his opponent before Clottey was a cake walk IMO. If Floyd routs Marquez he should be #1, if he just beats him then he should be #2 IMO.
