Shows the constraints of race and how dumb a measuring stick it is more than anything; race is purely a social construct. That's why there's different definitions for it wherever you go (different countries have different definitions of race; in Brazil, there's like 7 different classifications); were race a scientific fact, there wouldn't be so many different interpretations of it. There's no such thing as a Jewish race.

What most people mean by "race", should be called ethnicity. The difference being that ethnicity is the culture attached to it, which makes all the difference in how someone will turn out. Drop a kid of any pigmented persuasion into a different culture when they're young, and they'll pick up that culture's mannerisms because there's no inherent way black, white, or red skinned people act.

Which isn't to say the concept of race and dividing by skin color isn't a powerful social force, but it's something that gets used interchangeably with ethnicity despite there being a clear difference between the two.

I do both, Boxing and MMA and I promise you MMA is a ****ing tough training, it's not just ''rolling'' on the floor and ''french kissing'' each other on the canvas... Anyways I think his comments are absurd, I like better watching boxing but MMA is a really difficult art ,there are some no-brainers just as in boxing and there's also the intelligent fighters who know how to fight, just look at GSP who punishes everyone put in front of him. Finally street fighters normally don't go far, just look at Kimbo Slice, raw power isn't the only thing you need

I like MMA and have a preference for Grapplers I do agree that MMA is a sport that most guys do look like skinheads. I don't like ground and pound as it is too barbaric to be considered a sport. Interesting the Galdiator Games was alleged to have been on eof the contributing factors to Rome's decline.

however, I prefer Boxing over MMA

 

I used to think UFC was garbage until I saw fighters like Anderson Silva and Rashad Evans. Those guys have great defences to go with their fighting styles. And make UFC more into sport that human **** fighting.
