It is kind of unfair The 70's may have been the best eara in heavyweight history. That being said I think they both would have done very well. In Tyson's Time I'm not sure who gives Frazier the most trubble. I think Douglas who beat Tyson was very moitivated that night and would have given anyone probblems. As for Tyson his toughest opoent may have been Foreman. I think that Frazier and Tyson in peak condetions would have beaten Douglas and Foreman respectively.
they would have been great in those eras as well and I am sure they would run into the fighters to test there metal....I do think Tyson could have been better if he did not stray from Cus Damato's teachings...both fighters were great and both era's were strong, In fact I dont know any weak era's
It is highly likely that Frazier holds the title all the way until the Old George Foreman Knocks him out! I dont think that he creates the same buzz as Tyson, but technically his reign would be longer and better. Tyson in Fraziers place, almost certainly stalls in Fight of the century. Like Frazier, i think that Tyson also loses to George Foreman. I think that Tyson's record looks similar to Fraziers after this.
I think Tyson would beat any version of Ali that Frazier faced. Ali had slipped plenty by the time their first fight happened. I also think Tyson takes Foreman out because Foreman was way too sloppy. Norton gets crushed. Frazier would probably beat Tyson's opponents but make them look better than Tyson did. Ruddock would be live and Douglas might stand a chance. Foreman also might beat him. Frazier's title reign would probably end once Holyfield, Bowe, and Lewis came around.
This what I understand from your post. 1- I think you are admiting somehow (without saying it) that the version of Ali previous to facing Frazier in 1971 would have beaten Tyson.... 2- Then you believe that the versions (any version) of Ali that Frazier faced since their first match in 1971, would have lost against Tyson because This content is protected This what I think I think Tyson could only beat Ali by KO.... there is no other way that Tyson could defeat Ali..... not in a 12 or 15 round fight...... I think Tyson doesn't hear the final bell..... The version of Ali of 1971 who faced and lost to Frazier, would have in my honest opinion defeated Tyson.... Ali was a great fighter and also a smart one..... Tyson was never smart.... mostly speed and power.... and only for a few rounds...... If Tyson can't Ko Ali in the first 4 rounds..... then it is game over for Tyson....
I don't understand why so many people think Ali would beat Tyson? Granted 70's Ali has a better chance than 60's Ali.
