He will begin Sept 21st....is that sufficient time to prepare for a fight of this magnitude ?

There is a video clip in the url with a staredown of both fighters....is Manny wearing heels ?
Even though Manny promised Roach that there will be no " hanky panky "
at home....I still don't think it is sufficient time....because the week prior to fight time is not at full speed. He is cutting himself short, I would say
I don't know what he is thinking, but I believe he was looking past Cotto !!!

I'm a little shocked by this. He'll be ready, but he's showing Cotto hardly any respect.

well he doesnt really need to cut weight since its at 145. Maybe 7 weeks is enough for him to work out a gameplan and perfect it for Cotto. Its training in the philipines that makes me think training camp wont be 100%.

Pac started light training, and long runs weeks ago.

Which is why I have changed my view on the bout & I now feel Cotto will prove too much for Pacquiao. No disrespect intended, but this is not De La Hoya or Hatton, this is Miguel Cotto who Pacquiao is facing!

Cotto is in his prime, is a seasoned pro, knows the deal, has been there, seen it, done it & took a beating from Margarito & has come back from that! Who knows, that defeat may have made Cotto a hungrier, more motivated fighter?

All the hype & pressue is around Pacquiao - he's the favourite in this fight! Seven weeks training - he'll be in shape, but Cotto, by fight time, will have had a several more weeks in camp to train & those extra weeks could prove vital for him!

No need for heels; Many don't realize that Pac and Cotto are almost the same height (1/2 inch difference).

He doesn't need to worry about much roadwork. I'm sure he's close to hitting the weight as it is. So once he goes it's serious from the beginning. Still looking for that ko also.

From the beginning it has seemed to me that Pac views this as an easy interim fight on his way to a mega-dollar show down with PBF. Pac and Roach seem to think they are catching Cotto on the down hill slide.

Cotto, on the other hand, seems to have an attitude that says, "Oh ya! **** you! Watch this!"

It would not surprise me to see Cotto absolutely dominate and decimate Pac because Pac wasn't really ready for him. I'm not predicting that. I'm just saying it would not surprise me.
