If Arum is so confident why doesnt he just put a few of his guys in MMA to expose the garbage?

I am of Jewish descent and I like boxing more than MMA because of the larger talent pool but Arum is the only boxing promoter not interested in MMA and its future and I know plenty of old folks, black and Latino folks that watch MMA. True fighters like both sports. I also think the MMA's Metal music sucks and the MMA reality contender copies were rather stupid, particularly when showing guys tearing up their rooms. Thus, Arum and Dana White are both ignorant all around in this area and each probably feels threatened. However, I do agree that skin heads are probably attracted to the sport though.

I disagree...the only promoter that has REAL interest and recognizes it as a TRUE sport is roy jones......boxing overall trys to ignore mma, which it should......if a boxing promoter sent some guys over to the 'bar fights" it would legitimize mma....

I agree its a generational thing and also the lack of boxing not getting its **** together......I'm 23, and all my friends cant stand boxing, but love the "bar fights"....while people 40+ are like what's mma?

Now if boxing took care of some of its own business baggage, and got the politics out of the sport.....the promoters would come together and ufc would be laid to rest.....

mma "fans" will say yes there is real skill and talent....well, yes the guys are trained in bjj, karate, wwe, but it still doesnt change the fact that guys like dana white market it as a bar fight for prize money and a shiny belt.....
