Chambers would win this fight handily, on points. Eddie Chambers is the goods...a very, very serious contender indeed.
Chambers would win every round, tagging Toney with combinations. At the end of the fight Toney would run to the opposite corner, kneel and pray. After the decision was rendered, he would frown, curse and say " I was robbed"...etc.
Toney at 217. Today or yesterday. Because if Toney walked into the ring at 217 it would mean he was 100% business. Way to slick and sure as hell isn't worried about getting punched by Chambers.
funny thing is that tonight i was at a fight in Philly and i seen fast eddie chambers he looked to be in good shape just a little shorter than i thought... also nazim richardson and the uss cunninham was there i got pics with both of them what a surprise it was to see them there tho.....
We'll have to see what 217lbs but 41years old Toney has left in the tank. A couple of years ago I would have picked Toney no doubt, even if he was fat, but these days young Chambers style may be all wrong for him.
I'm inclined to second this, but the speed disadvantage may give him some trouble. I guess it depends on how much his timing survived the aging process.
