Liakhovich is not with sleazeball Ivaylo Gotzev any more. I realy think it will be a new start for him.

Where did you get that from? I've seen nothing saying he parted ways with Gotsev. Also, wasn't he with DKP before (when he fought Brewster)? Why would that give him a "new start" now? It may open doors for him, but thats it.

Ok in the pictures, he looks in better shape than before, but whats with all the injuries he claims? What has he been doing outside the ring for 18 months? Another question I have is; is Kenny Weldon going to train him again? I hope not, because Sergei just wont listen to him for whatever reason...will he listen to anyone?

Good to see him back and looking to be in better shape.

I like Liak, and think he's certainly a welcome addition to the heavyweight division. Good fighter with a very solid chin. I like his willlingness to exchange, as he did against Brewster. What a fight that was. He had the Briggs fight in the bag, then, boom, it was over in the final seconds.

As for the new photos, Liak looks to have put on some muscle and has gotten leaner, as well. Maybe he's improved his power.

Looking forward to seeing him in against a decent name.

hes fought 3 times in 5 years....i cant get excited about a guy in his prime that wastes it. and his last fight just leaves a nasty taste in my mouth....of all the guys he had a chance of beating, he just blew it against valeuv.....i hope he gets back in the ring within 2 months...because we know the first fight will be against a gimmie....so get in there and get your feet wet asap

He says so in the interview.

He also says he's really been working on his strength, which seems to show in that one photo.

Here is the article, click on the link and he him self said just couple of weeks ago He is not with Gotzev any more. http://www.fightnewsextra.com/cc/2009stories/09-whitewolf.htm Good thing he is not with Weldon too. Kenny Weldon only covers his ass in the corner, he is insecure old man, who has no confidence and never takes any responsibility in the corner. Everyboby knows what he told Liakhovich before round 12 with Briggs " I don't know if we are up or down..." He pushed him to do that stupid move. Weldon is not straight in the head, if you talk to him he can not shut up and he lies and lies and lies...
