    funny touche touche......but this is more amusing.....nothing like seeing the hype job of the decade on the seat of their pants.....dawson is young hes got time, dawson is challenging himself at his age more then I can say for joe when he was 27....fighting in ice rinks and ballrooms in cardiff:lol:

    denial is rife,i mean look at you dawson fans....

    In laymans terms - Dawson is not a draw.

    If he really wants to keep barely beating up has beens like Glenn Johnson and Tarver I have no time for him. If he really wanted to impress people he would be activley seeking out the likes of Erdei (for Erdei read the same top line here, not a fan either), Pasqal, just to clean up his division rather than cleaning up nursing home candidates.

    Or a catchweight with Lucien Bute....

    It isn't like he is being hyped a ton, his own country hardly supports him and he is clearly one of their better performers, a sad sight for boxing. He is young, has some good, but not great wins, and has plenty of time to improve.

    Although the original post was funny, anyone who genuinely has it out for Dawson on the grounds that he has a **** resume is fairly pathetic. Particularly a fan of a fighter like Joe Calzaghe whose most significant wins were in the twilight of his career, whilst the majority of his earlier fights hold minimal significance.

    I thought the Johnson won their first fight too. I have noticed something about these boards. Any fighter with an unbeaten record is bashed. More times than not it is to hype a fighter that they never fought or defeated.

    The friend of the man from Del Monte's entire career has minimal significance that's why a few on ESB are so adamant in their support and vehement in their dislike of all fighters he didn't fight (especially if they are under 40 years of age).


    There aren't ten people in the US that would recognize Joe's name or face - but clearly a few on ESB have dozens of his posters on their walls, in their bedrooms, bathrooms, all the usual places.

    Calzaghe challenged Gary Coleman but backed out when he found out he was only 41. Then he challenged Ali instead after talking to the man from Del Monte.
