one punch landed and even that was possibly on the neck. the ref had his mind made up. from the aerial view you can see the ref was going to step in before the one punch that landed actually landed. poor job. this is boxing. let the guy go down and then see how he reacts, if he comes back fighting etc

As McGuigan would say 'it was a compassionate decision'. I think he was right to stop it, he was getting outclassed and although Kessler made a dogs dinner with his flurry he did manage to connect with two big rights, which did the job.
