I didn't know Arum was so grouchy and dense. Goes to show, you don't have to have common sense to become rich.
What the **** is this? How do kampmann or CroCop resemble neo nazis in any way at all besides the fact that they are white? I guess Pavlik and the Klitschkos are SS then? The Klitschkos even live in Germany.
This content is protected cro cop about to salute This content is protected all kampman is missing is some tats :hi:
It's always funny how hard boxing tries to hang on to it's "ethnic" fanbase though, as soon as a white fighter takes a title "the division has hit rock bottom", and they can't discuss MMA without mentioning "white guys like it" to make sure none of their fans go watch "white guy stuff". atsch
So now all white people look like Nazi's? Because there is absolutely nothing whatsoever in either of those pictures that makes them look like any more of a Nazi than Arum himself. Honestly, this is the level of brain activity of the anti mma crowd; all white people are Nazis. Nothing about the product, nothing about the sport, nothing about the matchmaking, just all white people are Nazis. Unlike boxing of course, which has no racists in it, right Bernard?
Boxing promoter Bob Arum slams MMA in no-holds-barred homophobic rant Perhaps feeling the heat as the Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to eat into boxings pay-per-view market, boxing promoter Bob Arum went on a cross-sport tirade after a press conference at Yankee Stadium Wednesday, calling mixed martial arts fans "skinheads" and using homophobic language to describe the sport. In a video interview posted to MMA Fanhouse, Arum claimed the success of the UFC didn't impact his business because boxing and MMA audiences aren't similar. "For me, I look at the UFC audience and the boxing audience as being two different audiences entirely," Arum told Fanhouse's Ariel Helwani. "UFC are a bunch of skinhead white guys watching people in the ring who are also skinhead white guys." When Helwani took offense at that characterization, stating that he covers MMA extensively and, as a Jew, was far from being a skinhead and wasn't covered in tattoos, Arum laughed and replied, "90% of the people in the audience wear tattoos. I don't care, that's up to them. But those are people who don't have any interest in boxing. They wouldn't." Arum continued, "For me, and people like me, it is not something that they ever care to see. They've watched it, it's horrible, guys rolling around like homosexuals on the ground. It is not a sport that shows great great talent. The guys that throw punches can't throw punches to save their ass. When they land, they have no chin. These are not like boxers." In 2008, Arum accused UFC President Dana White of being a "loose cannon" for using a gay slur in an interview, calling him "nuts."
Whooooa. He feels threatened alright. Too much ****in' politics and red tape in boxing. In MMA if the people wanna see a fight, the fight happens, everyone gets paid and the judges generally don't **** it up. It's simple and it works. I'd just like to see the fighters themselves get paid maybe a little more.
