Just keeping my fingers crossed that Darren Sutherland and James DeGale meet each other around the 25 fight mark.

Darren Sutherland will wipe his arse with DeFail.

Just a thought but do you think you might be making some premature judgements considering he has had just 3 pro fights?
I can't see how you could be so certain as you don't have much to gauge him on as of yet?!

I don't enjoy writing prospects off soo early in their career, but the only World Title DeGale will hold is SMW's Biggest *****.

And with so many daft belts out there I think it's actually covered.

You have absolutely ZERO knowledge on whether DeGale has the hunger to succeed or not...not every fighter who gets wealthy quickly loses hunger....SRL for example.

When i watched Cotto as an am i could see he had a style that could be very succesful in the pro's. The same was true of Hatton Joe SSM Kostya etc. In Gale i see alot of Amir Khan. I guy with fast hands and not much else that makes a slew of amateur mistakes who just doesnt have a pro "style".

I saw him live in Manchester not long ago on the Khan Vs. Kotelnik undercard.

He's very good, but its far too early to tell how well he will adapt to the pro-game. To be honest his first few fights he showed a lot of mistakes in his style like flicking jabs out like an amateur would, but with each fight he has definitely shown improvements. Hopefully in the next 18 months he'll get into a position where he can fight for a British title, and then we'll know how much potential hes got.

I would never hype up an Olympic gold medallist, not after the travesty of Audley 'A-Force' Harrison.

DeGale-Sutherland will sort the men from the boys. Hes a good prospect who has a chance to become a world champ, regardless of personality. I think he probably will, its a shame more Brits arent giving him support.
