Ward tonight won the fight by an easy tko win in round 3. Ward look way better then Kessler did earlier today. On November 21th if Kessler fight the same way like earlier today vs Ward, he will lose badly. I can't wait for that fight. I'm actually hoping Ward wins it cause he's a real good skick fighter and a very class act. Thats what i like fighters that are class act that don't trash. I'm not saying Kessler isn't a class act cause he is but i don't know i'm just hoping Ward wins it.
Ward did look fantastic! Have to admit, I hadn't seen a whole lot, other than the Miranda fight, but damn Ward is FAST!!! Should be one hell of a fight between him and Kessler. Plus the fight is gonna be in Ward's hometown! very interesting, indeed. One of the classiest post fight interviews I can remember too.
Ward was fighting Shelby Pudwill and Duddy did better than him at 160. Calm down a bit. That fight doesn't mean nothing except that Ward has no elite power.
I'm actually shock that Kessler vs Ward will be in Ward's hometown. I think Kessler got way more guts then brain to agree to fight in Ward's backyard.
Shut the **** up. The dude Perdemo..Perwacko or whatever the **** would of got ****ed up by Ward as well.
And you do realize he was fighting a guy Duddy knocked out in the first round, don't you? Duddy knocked this guy down 3 ****ing times!
This was just a minor glimpse into what SOG has in store for this supermiddle weight tourney .Can't wait for this !! SOG all the way !!!!!
I realize that but that shouldn't take away Ward performance cause if you want to take away his win cause the guy he was fighting then you should take away Kessler win earlier today over a fighter with no expereince at all. It was an easy win from both fighters over no threat opponents.
LMAO at anyone hyping Ward after this fight. YES he looked great. His skills were sharp, his hands were quick, and his body punching was sick. BUT he was landing at will on a guy a 160 lb John Duddy (who now campaigns at 154) stopped in the first round, and it took him 3 rounds to get him out of there. Ward is a very skillful boxer, but I've got serious doubts about his power keeping him competitive against some of the monsters at SMW. It's very surprising too, considering most of the shots he was landing were THUDDING blows, you could hear the impacts. Some guys are deceptively strong, but Ward seems deceptively weak.
Seems deceptively weak? :huh It just shows Ward is not a power puncher. You don't need to be a power puncher to be a great fighter. Look at Wright for example who easily beat a power puncher in Trinidad and beat Mosley twice in a row.
