:good I agree all the way. Ward is a talented class act and future Champion! Oakland, Cali Baby! Oh Yeah :happy
A few of you here don't understand that styles make fights. What Duddy did to Pudwill has no bearing on what Ward would do to Duddy. Still, good job on knit-picking and finding a boxingsenseless way to criticize Ward in a showcase 3rd round TKO. What you saw is Ward's style. This was a typical Ward fight. He breaks guys down over a period of time. He's going to break down Kessler over a period of time. We understand that Ward is not a power puncher.
Pudwill is nothing. Perdomo would have knocked him out. Ward is counting on his hometown cheating for him, but I think he will get knocked out anyway. Kessler is much stronger than Ward.
Kessler is definitely stronger than Ward. Kessler's strength will be obsolete due to the fact that he cannot hit Ward. Kessler's strength in this fight will be measured in taking punches...apparently to the head AND body if tonight's any indicator.
andre ward looked really good today and i think he's definitely ready for kessler. in fact, i pick ward to win this fight!
Pudwill is not in the same class as Kessler. Pudwill was knocked out by Duddy in the first round! Pudwill was able to hit Ward, if Kessler hits Ward it will be lights out even if the referee, judges, commentators, hometown all try to cheat for Ward. Kessler should not have allowed Ward to cheat him with the venue, but I think Kessler will knock Ward out in spite of the help from Ward's referee.
Ward did look better than Kessler. However, Kessler's opponent was considerably better than Ward's. So we won't know much till November.
Some would say because Ward is way better. Kessler is a very strong athlete though. Also clear, once again.
Ward can't punch for ****, just well enough to be undefeated (since the age of 14). What about Kessler? How undefeated has his power kept him?
