I think it'll be a close fight, lots of close rounds hard to score. Kessler's jab will definately trouble Ward and Ward's handspeed and variety will trouble Kessler on the inside.

How do you guys think this fight will pan out? My pick is Kessler by close UD but like I said i wouldn't be surprised if Ward won a controversial decision.

PS. Tarver did a good job. I hope to see him again. He is well spoken but he was a little nervous he'll probably get much better at commentating. Good pickup by showtime

Man, both guys looked super sharp last night. Very impressive. Looking forward to this match up. I see Kessler winning a UD. No way do I see Ward earning a decision in Germany even if he deserves it.

    1. Kessler fights out of Denmark, not Germany.

    2. The fight is in Ward's hometown, not Kessler's.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ward won the entire tournament.

Ward is coming in as the clear underdog, due to his lack of pro experience.

Well it's no surpsise if a close fight gets scored for the hometwon guy.

But I still think Kessler will win.

If it goes 12 rounds I'd definitely favor Kessler to pick up a legitimate decision.

Ward is no walkover but Kessler is better. I would be surprised if Ward won a decision.

Kessler is far more powerful. Sure, Ward can box but he can't deal with Kessler. Ward may not reach the final bell. Ward lacks power to hold of Kessler.

Nah I don't think so... I think the outcome will be pretty clear.. IMO Kessler wins a UD or scores a KO late.. No room for controversy....

You will see Wards lack of experience at that level

I think both guys have the tools to get it done but I favor Kessler being young AND highly experienced. I think Ward is special though. I could be wrong. But Kessler has been in there with Calzaghe and given a good account of himself. That's a wealth of experience right there that Ward isn't even close to having.
