hes like one of those weirdos that walk the streets muttering to themselves, you've heard it all before but you cant look away:rofl
Yeah, that would be something. I remember they a segment called Pacquiao-Hatton 24/7 Overtime featuring Roach and Floyd Sr. on HBO.com. Even with the language barrier and subtitles, I'm sure one with Nacho and Floyd Sr. (or Roger) would be just as entertaining. Imagine the amount of expletives in the subtitles for that one. It was actually Roger's son.
Everything about Mayweather, his family, and his entourage shows the money can buy anything but class! They all act as if they belong in a zoo. Sad representation for boxing.
I saw an interview earlier this year where Roach was talking about that. He said Nacho called him a ***, but he later apologized! :rofl
This show is getting dull. I suppose it's okay if you've never watched a 24/7 before, but the series has really lost it's luster. Perhaps they should try it out with new fighters, or show some more actual training stuff. It's not even working as fight hype anymore. Some of the older episodes, you could watch and they could fool you into thinking the underdog stands a chance, not so much with this time around. When you have to resort to a guy drinking **** as the highlight of the series, it's time to re-tool your show.
Here's the video where Roach mentions what happened and calls him an *******. Starts around the 6 minute mark... [YT]UTobhwX_wLA[/YT]
That was funny as hell. Nacho's seem like a wily old ****er. He gives me the impression, like yeah I'm the ****! I think he'd be hilarious to be around.
I understand and agree with your points on the training, but who could forget from one of the old ones where they follow Roger to get his groceries for thanksgiving dinner?? He came up out of there with like some Doritos and Gatorade! And remember the Red Kool-Aid? (Showed Sr. makin' it in slow-mo, then a rather priceless look on his face when he got a sip) Shits was funny, and truthfully, I believe this shows is aimed at Non-hardcore fans..(HBO knows we'll be watchin' regardless)..but they are shooting for the MTV kids..i.e. younger generation..and this is proving to be the type of **** they gobble up.:yep
