Will Marquez be a bigger test than Judah... in your opinion?

Yes. JMM doesn't fade away in the later rounds like Judah did when he fought FMJ.

 

The way JMM struggled in his 2 LW fights tells me he won't be a bigger test.

The heart and determination of Marquez should make it a tougher test than Judah. Although Judah is the better skilled boxer, Marquez CAN hurt floyd IF he lands a clean punch, and as he showed in his Diaz fight he can do that no matter how the fight is going.

 

I also see it that way too. It will be a battle of super tacticians.

 

JMM did lose to Pacquiao but I can't deny that he gave pacman an ass whoopin.

 

For crying out loud... i am sick and tired of people saying that judah is at an elite skill level. He clearly isn't... very one dimensional, has an average jab... he relied on his obvious athleticism in his career which included fast hands, fast feet, great reflexes and some pop... but no way does he match up with someone like Marquez on skill level... come on man, get real.. please people back me up in this respect

 

absolutely. judah, as always, was doing well in the beginning of his fight with pbf, but after that, he was just getting toyed with. i don't the same thing is going to happen on september 19th.

 

If Marquez could carry his power to 144 and retain his underrated speed that enabled him to do some miracles against Pac then Floyd is in trouble.

 

JMM maybe is an old lion but he is a starving lion and that spells danger to Mayweather.

 

Obviously not b'cause Judah had years in experience taking on 140 pounders and was physically threatening Floyd with flurries out of his southpaw stance and with his wicked left punch whereas Marquez standing up to Floyd's leading shots is not granted at all... If he happens to take those leads, then you can talk about stamina and compare JMM with Judah but not before. I don't believe Marquez can stand up to him at this weight class and given both fighters styles and weapons. In resume, Judah a much more difficult bout for Floyd back then than Marquez now.
