Not so much chin and reflexes as speed and reflexes...and yeah, he does think they are that good.

 

Ward's quicker than Calzaghe. Easy!!! As for the Kessler stoppage...well as long as TARVER said it was okay.

 

too bad he was fighting a can of campbells tomato soup. i really wish he would have been fighting someone worth fighting so we'd have more to gauge how he's going to do against an elite like kessler.

Kessler is stupid he is going to need a ko to win in the States.

 

Every once in a while it seems people need to be reminded of how to gauge handspeed. To determine faster handspeed: watch one fight of one guy, then watch another fight of the other guy. Notice the time it takes for each fighters' punches to get from the starting point to the finishing point. The fighter whose punches take less time to reach their destination has the quicker hands. And yes, I know it's complicated. You'll get it down after paying attention to a fight or two though, hang in there.

Ward ltold the ref to stop it ala Calzaghe.

 

And this somehow does nt apply to Perdomo?

 

I rate both Mundine and Calzaghe above Ward in case of speed.

Please name one fighter on Wards record who resembles Kessler?

 

Hey David - Anre Ward is very good, no doubt. But you are totally embarrassing yourself claiming that AW has better handspeed than Calzaghe or even Mundine. Andre Ward will get a shock when he steps up to this level.

Perdomo had never been ko'ed before..

Pudwill had in 1 round.

Perdomo was fighting proberly his last fight, and put all into this fight, trying to get out of his poor life.

Other facts: Ward dominated the fight with hot shots after another.. But couldnt bring the man down that who are allot weaker than perdomo..

Kessler couldnt figure out perdomo in the 2 first rounds, but only need a 1-2 combinations to staggere perdomo and finish him..

SO.. my opinium... Ward will not be able to KO kessler. Thats for sure.. Calzaghe is way better than ward, han he couldnt either. i belive kessler staggered calz more than the otehr way arround.

Kessler will be able to knock ward out and win on ko.. If kessler can hit ward.. It seemed like Kessler needs some accuracy training.. Can he fix that, the KO is way possible..

If there wont be a KO, then kessler need to tire out ward, and dominate the match from roudn 5-6.. If that dosnt happend, theres a slight chance that Kessler could loose on points like the way he did to calzaghe.. but thats really hard for me to belive.. I cant see how ward will be able to out box kessler..

I don't feel embarrassed. Are you sure I'm embarrassing myself? Reading back over this, it would seem that the Euro backers should feel embarrassed. Again, on the handspeed thing, scroll up...I just broke it down for you. Don't overlook Ward's amateur experience. Soft Euros are nothing new to Ward. He's travelled and fought around the globe for years.
