Margarito is 5 foot 11 and is in truth a light middleweight, so he had no reason not to fight Paul Williams.

And the proof is the fact that Cotto took 248 punches from Shane Mosley and his face didnt swell or cut. His face didnt swell against anybody other than Margarito, a guy not thought previously to be a knockout puncher, and yet after the Williams fight wins three fights by brutal knockout. Hmm go figure.

Logic says that it is ****ING NAIVE to believe that a guy would score the best win of hs career and then start trying to use plaster in his gloves.

 

Trinidad was the same height, you do realize Margarito started out at 135 right? Sure he could have moved up in weight but he already fought paul and lost to him so why does he have to fight him again?

If you watched ASSAULT IN THE RING by HBO you would see that the plaster inserts that Panama used was the same exact type as noted above further obliterating some dumb ass counter points said previously.
