Kessler Won't Go 12 Rounds In This Tournament.

Yeah this is just what us Kessler fans on here need when he's finally got back some of his reputation for entering this tournament. Fools talking ****. It could be a long fall, thats what you have to remember. It's better to be graceful win or lose, before and after.

 

Kessler is there to hit too. What does that mean? They all have a head and a body to hit and 2 arms to throw punches with.

 

He doesn't neccessarily have better power than everybody in the tournament. He has a solid thudding power, but most important accuracy to land right on the button. Personally, I have his entire career on my computer and if I had a choice I'd take his accuracy with Froch/Abraham's raw power, that would be the most effective deliverable power in the tournament. A sparring partner for Froch/Kessler also backed up that Froch hit a little harder.

His speed is right up there indeed. But Dirrell and Ward are also fast if not more so, Taylor's handspeed is as quick but his feet aren't.

Technically he's good in some aspects but not others. There are holes in most styles and Mikkel is no exception. His jab and straight right are picture perfect. However, on the negative side he doesn't throw tight hooks, he is prone to jumping straight backwards and getting hit, and he doesn't move his head one iota.

All I'm saying is its quite right Kessler is a favourite, in my mind he's a joint favourite, but lets not get arrogant. There are 6 quality fighters.

 

Abraham has very very good defense.

Maybe he's going to beat himself up too??

 

Honestly i think Kessler has too much fire power for Ward and the rest of them in this tournament.He will prove himself a cut above and take the whole thing comfortably.

I was some what disappointed on Kessler, but after rewatching the fight, he did quite well. Just watch the Ward fight. OK performance, but vs. a guy who didn't fight back. Hoped for a Kessler UD win, but now i think it will be a tko/ko victory. Why - distance!. Ward will stand inside Kessler's hitting range all night - BANG BANG !

 

Rumour has it that Andre Ward is so fast he actually counts as two people....

It's a good job that Kessler is no more accurate than Edison Miranda then. Oh wait...
