closer the fight gets, the more i see a PBF stoppage..doesnt really matter when though because marquez has never been stopped not even the 'amazing' pacman could finish him after knocking him down like 27 times lol

 

Anything can happen in boxing..I just think its very unlikely.

Floyd may be bigger but when he went to these weight his effectiveness clearly took a dip...He just isnt as good at welter.

I tell you though I will be slightly more surprised by Marquez winning then Mayweather getting an early stoppage.

Yeah he is a slow starter, thats true, but I'm just thinking given the lay off & his style, I don't see Mayweather rushing in, rather feeling him out & keeping the contact to a minimum.

 

Watch the Casemayor fight. It's a lot more telling as casa was a bigger counter puncher. The diaz fight won't give you and a accurate information.

 

Whatever Floyd brings, JMM can adapt to it.
(Same way PBF can do)

Should Mayweather blowout JMM, Then kudos to Floyd.
It won't be as easy as alot of you make it seem.

Mayweather has never been in the ring against a fighter as good as JMM.

 

Both are great counter punchers. They will be feeling each other for about 1-3 max 4 rds. Both will adapt to each other's plans. This fight will be like watching a chess match.

 

Hopefully floyd will exchange with JMM so the skills can really be put on display. If Floyd tries 'bum rushing' JMM hes going to be put down hard and early. The strategy would be to wear the smaller fighter down then let loose late in the fight. However as of yet nobody has managed to wear JMM down. Even in the pacquiao fight where JMM and pacquiao received heavy shots throughout the contest, both were still fighting at a tremedous pace till the final bell.

Most likely outcome is that floyd moves, hits and then clinches to a 12 round UD or SD. At the very least though JMM is going to take a piece of mayweather in that ring.

 

my thoughts exactly. if anything, floyd's weakness coming into this fight is he's too conservative and careful.

 

It's not smart to RUSH JMM, just not smart. Mayweather should stick with what has got him here and not try and get over overzealous and do too much.
