Kessler by UD, He'll steal the first half with ease and I don't think Kessler with have to much trouble with AA coming on later in the fight.

 

Kessler will have a hard time againt Ward and Dirrel. Im looking forward to see how Kessler will cope with their speed and rythm. AA could lose to Kessler and still win the tourney. (Styles make fights)

In my opinion this is essentially correct. However, AA is a sitting duck for Kessler's 1-2, and I think that leads to a stoppage. Part of the reason we have this myth about Arthur's "impenetrable defense" is because he fought so many guys who are feather fisted. A guy with Kessler's skill, who can crack like Kessler, will completely expose the myth.

 

Well usually Miranda's power is overrated, but here you may be underrating it a bit. He bombed away on Abraham (before during and after the breaking of his jaw) and the guy trucked on. He has at minimum an A-/A level chin at 160 (presumably his punch resistance won't be too disparate with an additional eight pounds). I do see Kessler stopping him, primarily because he will land the 1-2 through Abe's high guard (which isn't held as tightly as some of its other practitioners) and will be able to counter at will. By accumulation, Kessler will draw blood. Abe will be a mess by the 8th round it if lasts that long. If the ringside physician doesn't stop it on medical grounds, Wegner will have no choice but to throw in the towel to save his meal ticket to come back and fight another day.

 

Miranda is the only puncher AA ever faced, and it took him 16 rounds over two fights to score one convincing win. Ward only needed 12 rounds. Pavlik only needed 7.

All Abraham has ever done is beat up a bunch of winos and bag ladies. He is easily the single most over rated fighter on the planet.

Well it's obviously because of the whole Pavlik-Abraham situation.

I used to have a lot of respect for AA. That changed when I throroughly researched his resume', and watched 7 of his fights:yep

If boxing was always fair, we would have seen Miranda TKO4 Abraham.
