**** me. Seemed such a real nice, softly spoken kid. And a great fighter in the making.

What a shame for his family.

I hope it's bull**** but, well, it's not is it, jeff has confirmed that much.

Another one bites the dust. Too many boxers dying. It goes to show you that we don't know the man behind the man.

    Forrest carrying a gun!
    Arguello suicide!
    Gatti murdered!
    Sutherland hung himself!

    Something is out of whack.

I want to know why. Nice bloke who seemed to have it all. What was so bad that he needed to do this.

Cant believe the year boxing has had but for me this news is the most tragic of all and just makes no sense. Absolutly gutted.

Its not the time to discuss but Darren kept in regular contact with his fans via facebook. I've spoke to him a few times, no signs of any sort of unhappiness. Its just bizarre. Poor chap.

Seconded. It's also a crying shame that his huge potential will never be fulfilled either. I feel sick.

    RIP Darren.

Terrible, tragic news. It;s always sad to hear of the death of a young man but when it's someone with so much to offer it's absolutely heartbreaking,

    RIP
