Just finished watching it a few moments ago. Firstly, I scored the fight to Pacquiao 114 - 113. My scoring followed Lederman's score card apart from the last round, which I scored for Marquez.

I just want to know how others scored the fight, because I'm not at all convinced that Marquez won it, which I know is against how people like Mayweather saw it. I'm here to be convinced, and I'll watch it again to try and see your points.

Secondly, can anyone more in the know tell me about what was happening in the pic below? Is that a piece of string/ rubber band? Is it some method of putting coagulant/adrenaline into the cut? And is it legal? I'm guessing it must be as nobody has said otherwise - certainly not from the Pacquiao camp or the commentators. Anyone?

I scored it for Marquez by 2.

The string was a big controvery at the time Iremember. Some say it was illegal.

It is a new method of coagulant I guess,it melts in the cut after a few minutes but if you get hit there it also can cause problems.

that yellow stuff is coated with coagulant to prevent the bleeding.

it is a form of cheating i guess.

    1. Pac 10-9
    2. JMM 10-9 (clearly)
    3. Pac 10-8 (clearly)
    4. Pac 10-9 (clearly)
    5. JMM 10-9 (clearly)
    6. JMM 10-9 (Clearly)
    7. JMM 10-9 (Clearly) *
    8. JMM 10-9 (Clearly)
    9 Pac 10-9 **
    10. Pac 10-9 (Clearly)
    11. JMM 10-9 (Clearly) ***
    12. JMM 10-9 (Clearly)

    FINAL: 114-113 for JMM.

    * This is a easy round to score but people might not see it that well, before the Marquez cut JMM was winning the round with ease, after the cut Pac makes a comeback and he might be winning the round by a bit but after 2 or 3 seconds he tries to keep going against jmm and he gets countered hard, so the round goes to jmm by a bit, until here to the end of the round jmm keeps winning the round making it clear...

** Difficult round to score but I would give it to pac, Pac starts winning the round good, then jmm makes a comeback and he might tie the round but after 2 seconds pac connects a hard straight left going the round for pac, then in the last 30 secs marquez makes a comeback again and he might tie the round again but in the last second pac connects a hard straight left to win the round...

*** This might be difficult to score for some people because pac finish the round with a nice right hook but if you separate the round in parts you can see it wasnt enough clearly those last 5 seconds for pac...

A very close fight but if you watch it well the rounds were not difficult to score, this was a close fight with clear rounds for each fighter going the fight for jmm...

ive worked with something similiar working in the ER we use a medication called dermabond to close up clean cuts its pretty much superglue but its clear and expensive a small vial is like 50 bucks and its not over the counter. theres a cheaper version used by vetanarians and livestock farmers called clotisol its a tacky brown to redish yellow color usually used to stop bleeding in farm animals and docking. but more then likley its just a couagulant with a anti-infective since alot of anti-infectives are also redish yellow

It was a very very close fight I had Pacquaio winning by a point. Everyone sees and judge the fight differently... Some like boxers that can land more effective punches and some like boxers that can land more. SImple as that. I still want the 3rd match to happen.

    One more time...
I thought Marquez won and that stuff is actually not cheating as most *******s would like to think. There was an article written about it and some people say its actaully not very effective.

IF what Thomas Hauser said is true then, if that yellow string contains any kind of medication then that is illegal regardless of its effectiveness. IMO it doesn't matter anymore since the fight is over.
