No, the difference is that Cotto actually lost to Margarito, and at the same time maybe lost his only chance at Floyd.

The difference is that Floyd has had 39 up and put 39 down. Cotto will never be perfect.

Last time I checked BoxRec it still had Diaz beating Malignaggi and Casamayor beating Santa Cruz. BoxRec isn't perfect.

no offense but this is a biased thread....i'm far from being a cotto fan.....but i thought mosley was a clear win for him, margarito he got beat imo fair and square untill shown otherwise, and i socred cotto-clottey for cotto by a point.....but i could see how some scored for clottey....but the op was mostly full of **** bias...

So based on your logic....do you have Gayweather 37- 2
Many feel Castillo starched him and Oscar edged a decision.

Same way I feel, I can understand if people felt he lost to Clottey but no way did he lose to Mosley, but people only see what they want to see.

Cotto did have a nasty cut caused by a head butt since the early rounds! And he still managed to fight on with blood in his eye, obscuring Clottey's right hand. He won the last 2 rounds when Clottey didn't throw.

He beat Mosley convincingly. He took all Sugar's bombs and didn't even flinch. He muted his speed and won a decisive victory.

Cotto only lost to Bricks Margarito. He'll crush little Manny

Both of those fights were very close, but against Clottey he got the kd and that made the difference. Against Mosley I really can't see how many of you guys feel Mosley clearly lost. He definitely could have got that nod, and had Cotto for the first time we've ever seen on retreat which showed to me Mosley had him in trouble. Yes Mosley takes his losses in an admirable manner and never questions judges. Has he ever been anything but gentlemanly? So why would you guys expect him to start complaining about the decision he's a professional knew it was a close fight and respected the decision.

I agree but thats no knock on Cotto just cause I thought Mosley and Clottey won doesnt mean the fights werent competitive. Those are 2 of the best in the world and Cotto at worst won 5 rounds in each fight.

Please I seened your scorecard for the Cotto/Mosley fight and you had the nerve to give Mosley rounds 7 and 11 which were clear Cotto rounds. GTOH with your bull****.

Well for me i still thought Cotto vs Mosley was a draw. 3 of my friends were in my house when we watch Cotto vs Mosley and let me tell you people those 3 were huge Cotto fans and they thought it was a draw. I was like "wow you agree with me it was a draw?" And one of them say "Hey i'm a Cotto fan but i'll be honest and thought it was a draw."

Imo Cotto vs Mosley could have gone either way it was that close of a fight while i thought Cotto winning the last 3 rounds seal the deal to beat Clottey and the knockdown Help in a way for Cotto to get that decision win.
