Then he fits in just nicely with the rest of the **** heavyweights of this era.

Peter could still bang and got a strong chin as well, he's still a very dangerous fighter for most heavyweights today.

He's a good fighter, no doubts about it but being a good fighter is NOT enough. Got to have the dedication, desire and love for the sport if you want to go far.

Why is he taking things way too seriously now?, he had TWO major fights to climb on top and came in pathetic shape for Vitali yet he was in perfect shape for Wladimir. He didn't have the tools to end that fight even though he got unlucky in the 10th with only 30 seconds left since Wladimir looked to be ready to go.

He can bring some entertainment, that can't be denied but needs a solid streak of good wins before he's given another shot against either Klitschkos who already beat him.

I have a feeling we MIGHT see Peter vs Valuev/Haye winner if he continues to do good. A fight with Ruiz or a rematch with Chambers along the way should also happen, especially the Chambers rematch.

Good post, reminds me of David Tua a bit. Not much skill, wings punches, relies on strong chin and power to see them through. Each showed times where they looked invincible, while other times looked very medicore.

I feel Peter is on the right track, and the fact he turns 31 this month, tells you that he's still relatively young in comparison to ther top notch fighters in the division. He just needs to keep his weight down and stay dedicated, we might just see him fight for another title in 2010.:good

Very possible though I can't see him remain dedicated for that long but we'll see.

The Tua example is a good one but we both have to admit Tua hits harder and KO'd top competition. Ruiz, Moorer, Rahman, Oquendo and Maskaev(prime version).

Peter has Williams and past it Maskaev to brag about. The Maskaev KO wasn't a one punch brutal one, he was stopped by TKO.

Oh I see, thanks.:good Good to see that Peter is getting in shape and dropping the weight. This could mean big business in the future for him.

I'd love to see what a 230 lb. Peter can do.

Thats what he is suppose to be doing, i agree...

Let big Sam regain that Nigerian Nightmare back, also a smaller weight.

But credit given where credit is due, hes actually motivated in losing pounds, and its great to see Samuel doing so cause hes a good man, fact is King ****in ruined him into a Who Nex dumb beast. Samuel is much better behaved than that. **** King, Go Top Rank!

After our boy feasts on 1 or 2 more of these cans put his ass in their vs a second teir Heavyweight like Sergie Lyakovic or Dimitrenko.

4 pounds scince his fight vs. McGee, thats not as much as he lost from Chambers to McGee but its progress and thats what we want to see.

Yep. Peter is still 28, thats not really old for a HW. He has time, and i think he will be on top again sooner or later.
