This fight in the begginnin I thought was a big fight, and it would and it would do go number ppv wise, considering mayweather is comin back, but lately this fight feels huge! Specially among the mexican fans, I myself being mexican, have been noticin all my family is hyped for this fight big time, also at my job with a lot of my coworker, whci atre mexicans that's all they talking about the fight, it made it bigger attention after everyone seen him at the world cup quallifier in azteca stadium, the other thing I noticed, is all the mexicans fan, believe marquez is going to win! Lol,, iam a big marquez fan, but I knoe mayweather gonna win, what's funnier is I betted about 10 different people tottaling 400. Bucks that's mayweather gonna win, all mexicans go with their heart that marquez is gonna win I try to explain to them that mayweather is bigger, he undeafeated defensce is crazy, but they still think marquez is gonna win, bsically what iam sayin this fight is a mega bough with the hispanic community, and I believe it will do 800 plus ppv buys, and if u guys knoe any mexicans go bet them some money cause they will go for marquez ahahh
Mayweather makes his opponents bigger draws than they actually are. People love to hate PBF and thats why when a fighter that people like even slightly is fighting Floyd, all of a sudden they become a huge fan of that fighter and will buy the PPV. Its the reason 1.5 million brits paid to see Hatton vs PBF. Its why Oscar vs PBF broke all time records. People say that its Floyd's opponent who brings his fans and thats true but the fact is that Floyd makes his opponents draw those fans almost more than the opponent himself. I also believe that JMM vs PBF will do real good numbers. Mexicans have always been a big fanbase and PBF is fighting a mexican on mexican day which means they will all be tuning in to hate on PBF
JMM has earned a lot of respect among the Mexican community for his exciting fights against Barrera, Diaz and of course Pacquiao. I have a couple family members who aren't big boxing fans who always get excited as hell watching a Marquez fight. White and black casual boxing fans might not know much about him, but Mexican casual fans definitely know and support Juan Manuel Marquez. I myself have been eagerly anticipating this fight and now that the fight is less than a week away the excitement has hit me big time. I can't ****ing wait!

nah, You know the weird thing is with Mexican fighters, or Cuban or Puerto Rican I don't feel the international rivalry. With the European fighters its different. I'm really not a hardcore fan of anyone and I like alot of fighters from everywhere but when an American gets in the ring with a European fighter I'm pulling for the American all the way. That includes Floyd over Hatton whom I happen to like more than Floyd.

Americans will be rooting for both. It's not as much divided by nationalistic lines if it's Floyd fighting. Lots of Americans love and hate Floyd, and Americans like JMM, so there will be plenty for JMM, just in hopes Floyd loses if anything.
No I dont think too many of us are I want Marquez to win but dont exspect him to I mean Floyd looked faster than Marquez at lightweight when he was 154, Floyd's younger, Faster, Bigger, imo better technically though there both great fighters, as far as intelligence and ring iq the ability to adapt in the middle of a fight there the best which makes it interesting, and counter-punching there neck and neck and the weight of course benefeits Mayweather I still think Marquez will make it competetive he's a great fighter but can't see him winning may still be a good fight though.
