Pac by TKO 10th round. I think Cottos stamina is going to fail him again and he'll get stopped on his feet like Barrera 1.

I haven't made a final pick yet but Roach is right. Pac might get caught and Cotto has power. :deal

On that . . . if Pac's gonna win it's by decission. :yep

BTW, My pick is Cotto by TKO...
Roach will defo not allow Manny to take alot of damage.
Fight will be stopped on the drop of a hat if he senses danger.

For the record, I still haven't yet made any official prediction on this fight. I've been torn ever since the catch weight of 145 was announced.

"If" Pac wins, I'm more less thinking it will be by stoppage. I see him hitting Cotto more often than Mosley was able to because of the southpaw stance. Pac will also be more relentless and jump all over Cotto if he lands anything big. Factor in that Cotto is prone to cuts and Pac at times leans in with his head then I tend to favor stoppage over a 12 round victory for Pac.

PAc is going to stop Cotto. Cotto lacks a big right hand even though he is an intelligent fighter. Cotto is going to have to fight very intelligently to win this fight. PAc too fast, and he is in his absolute prime, and he has the right hook going. Cotto has to with stand the first 5 rounds of this fight, and I don't think he can last having to fight make 145.

I might change my mind before the fight, but as of right know im going with pac by late stoppage.I was going with mid rounds, before but now im leaning toward late tko or decision. Although i wouldnt bet much, because I would not be surprised at all if cotto won, cause pac might be biting off more than he can chew a legit welter in his prime.Cause we all know he was lucky oscar was drained, and cotto is just hands down a better fighter than hatton. But i just cant help not thinking about cotto so so chin, but then pacs not faced anyone as strong or hard hitting as cotto:huhTHis is a tough one thats why i love :bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

you honestly think that? no way roach will stop it, unless its a total demolition by cotto.

if cotto starts landing punches flush, pac will be ko'd cold he won't be worn down methodically or anything like that. he's yet to feel the power of a junior welterweight let alone a true welterweight.

Cotto himself said in one of the interviews that 145 is not a problem. He stated that he weighed 146 against Clottery and said that within 15 minutes he could go down to 145 after that. You have to couple this to the fact that there was more than enough time to trim down to 145 (about three months). What you should actually worry more is if Cotto overtrains himself. By the looks of it, he is already hovering around 150, which is a little bit too early for someone who walks around at 160, with about 8 weeks more to go.

The last footage that I saw of Cotto training, he had a bit of a gut and surely was heavier that 150.

I realized that Cotto was 146 for the Clottey weigh in but shedding that one extra pound can still be taxing. We'll just have to wait and see.

Indeed. Cotto's two best punches are his jab and left hook which figures to be the hardest jabs and left hooks that Pac will have ever felt to this point in his career. Hopefully Pac won't be taking too many clean shots or this may surely end up as an early night for him.
