    135, obviously. I'd still love to see this. Both hung tough and pocketed rounds with a primed-out Marquez before getting stopped. Casamayor is now officially inactive for over a year, and Diaz' trip up to light welter wasn't a smashing success with a very controversial decision in a razor-thin fight with Malignaggi. They may be each other's best option for a big fight right now, and I remember this was rumored to be in the works a few years back.

    depending on what casa has left....i would take casa....

    diaz will always continue to struggle with a guy that can box with a strong ring iq.....

    Normally I'd favor Casa but with the layoff and age and deterioration Juan could win.

    I'd still pick Casa if it was signed right now for the end of the year/early 2010. Any later than that, and...well...the guy will just be so old...

    gotta go with casa i remember luis de cubas was trying to get this fight for august 22nd on hbo but diaz didnt want anything to do with casa , what a lame

    Right now??? Ah...no question. Diaz over this version of Casa for sure. ****.....Diaz gave JMM a tough fight....one of the most difficult he's had. Grant it...I think JMM is on the slide as well but Casa is further past his best than JMM. Diaz is too fresh, young and determined to loose to a fighter like Casa in his present state.

    "This version"? The last Casa we saw in the ring gave JMM just as much trouble as did Diaz, if not more.

    Same here.

    By the way, where is Casamayor? He was supposed to fight Julio Diaz but got injured, and last I heard he tryed to get a fight with Valero but talks stoped.

    Tho at the same time, Juan's style might have even gave a prime Casa trouble at his peak.
    (Just never truly know).

    I was looking foward to seeing Casa Vs. Valero, I guess that's prob out now?
    Anyone know what next for Casa?
