Did Julio Ceasar Chavez use Plaster againest Meldrick Taylor??

I wouldn't accuse of an all-time great like Chavez of such a thing, but he was hitting Meldrick with bone cracking bombs! Meldrick put a whopping on him the whole fight, or so it seemed, but by the later rounds he was pulp. Chavez is one heavy handed banger

 

Over a hundred fights and no body said anything. Lou Duva, who hated JCC with a passion and couldn't get his fighters a win over Chavez never mentioned anything like this.

Taylor was getting hit with hammer like punches the whole fight. Its not like he was dancing around pot shooting and slipping punches. The dude ate the full force and fury of Chavez. Thats why he lost.

 

Now nobody can be too strong, too fast, too ripped these days because nutjobs think they got some illegal **** going on. :-(

Innocent to proven guilty.

Taylor took a lot of hard shots, he was fatigued, it wasn't out of the ordinary to see him go down in the 12th round of such a grueling fight.

 

I love how you guys can be so certain that he hasnt used anything. The truth is you dont know one way or the other.

All that can happen is that you can give him the benefit of innocent until proven guilty but you cant sit there and type that you know 100% that he hasnt used anything.

Mosley never failed a test either, so is he proven innocent then?


I suspect a lot of guys are using, especially some of the older guys. Late 30s used to be old age but now days we are having all of these guys in late thirties and 40s with great stamina and timing, I dont believe its just some special training methods or "supplements". It is what it is, if everyone is using it then is it really cheating?

 

i've been as hard on chavez as anyone on this site in regards to that fight and NO ****IN WAY did he use plaster. i can see how it looked that way as his punches didn't appear to do the damage until the later rounds but chavez is the greatest pressure fighter ever and his in fighting was a thing of genius. he was busting taylor up the whole time; only taylor's skills and heart obscured that from us through out the fight

By the way the coaches name who said this is last name is Figueoroa and he worked with Casamajor for 2 years in Miami he says. Now he is Camacho JR's nutritionist.

I found THAT part out AFTER i made the thread. Had i known that i would not have taken his banter so seriously.

 

Chavez did not get caught using plaster, and Taylor had no defense anwyay. It is really funny to find out that AM's trainer was in Chavez's corner if this is true lol...
