Capetillo never worked his corner. I checked with a few trainers in LA and they told me Capetillo has never worked a Chavez corner.

Also same people told me that the amount of sulphur on the gloves was trace and that by no means the wraps were lethal.

Actually I believe it was Cristobal Rosas who also trained the late great Salvador Sanchez, who was in JC Chavez corner and his chief trainer for the Meldrick Taylor fight.

The late Rodolfo "Buffalo" Martin was also a big part of Chavez' team as "Buffalo" was the master motivator in Chavez corner.
Cristobal Rosas gave advice, but mainly it was Buffalo Martin who did most of the talking to Chavez in between rounds......

It was "Buffalo" who was the man who famously told Chavez in the Taylor fight, "Not one more round, you cannot lose another round.....Do it for your family!"

I will note that Buffalo died in an automobile accident sometime after the first Chavez-DLH fight, and I believe Chavez himself lost his focus to train right after Buffalo died........Buffalo was a no nonsense type of individual, who would have cursed at Chavez for taking shortcuts and laxing in his training.
.....after Buffalo passed, there was'nt anyone in Chavez' corner but "yes" men who told Chavez only what he wanted to hear.


I dont know if Capetillo ever worked for Chavez in some capacity, but I know Capetillo was never in any major way part of Chavez team of trainers.


Who ever is making these types of accusations toward Chavez is speaking out of their arse!

Tito's wraps didn't have any illegal substance in them...they were unproperly wrapped under the NY rules and only in NY ... that 1 little "factoid" was brought for free and wiyth lots of love for all you convinience ignorants!!

point is, margo's trainer used some olds pads that not even the SUPER SCIENTIST of today could figure out exactly what it was....all they found was "traces" of some **** that could be found in many things......

with tito....nazim said that what he did, made his fists like casts.....now like i said, does it really matter ???? plus, margo does not hit harder than tito, no way in hell can you compare the two.....
