Again you're wrong Kessler Ko ratio 74.42 % Ward 65 % I'm not saying Ward is bad, but I dont like when you say Kessler has'nt done anything bc. thasts bull****. And I have been to a lot of amateur fights, I fought as an amateur in MW and LHW.
I have that fight on tape. You're right. Kessler, though he lost, landed what I saw as the harder shots in that fight. Just my opinion though. I still saw Calzaghe winning.
Dude, are you just joking or what? I hope you are not serious because if you are its really embarrassing. Kessler has fought outside of his own country more than anyone else in the top of SMW. Then you you went to talk about KO-percentage. Again - Kessler has a far higher KO-percentage than Ward. Come on dude. Are you just pulling these things out of your ass?
Mmhmm, sure. If Kessler had the decorated amateur background I'm sure you'd be mentioning it. The point is, Ward had seen EVERY style the world over has to offer. Accept it.
The forty-something fights in Denmark is in no way voided by four weak trips to fight 3 weak out of 4 opponents. COPENHAGEN IS NOT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!!! The reason no other fighter has fought outside his country as much is because no other fighter is from DENMARK!!!!
How many times has Pavlik fought world title fights against top 10 fighters outside of the US? How many times has Taylor fought world title fights against top 10 fighters outside of the US? How many times has X fought world title fights against top 10 fighters outside of the US? Almost no matter who you put into that sentence with about 30-40 pro fights, they will have LESS fights abroad than Kessler. End of!
The guy obviously has no idea how talented the Super Middleweight has been and how good Kessler has been. Kessler wins this one. Easy.
What are you saying ... yeah you fought amateur at MW and LHW ... were in international or local? ... it doesn't take much to win a state title ...
The reason guys from the U.S. have not fought outside the U.S. is because the U.S. is where the best fighters are. If these same guys were from Denmark, and had the Denmark talent pool to draw from for fights, they'd be FLOCKING to the U.S. If Kessler were from the U.S., judging by his career so far, he would have hardly left his home STATE!
I'm not at all sure Kessler wins this, but the reason I think Ward has a good chance certainly has nothing to do with the baloney Fiztgerald is spewing.
Again you display an intollerable level of pure ignorance. "The best fighters are"...... For pretty much the entire time Kessler has been in the elite at SMW only one American has been in the top 5 (the Ring) and that was Lacy. Does that support your argument? NO!!! Americans NEED to go abroad. We do not live in the 60ties any longer. The best fighters from around 160-168 and up are no longer in the US and haven't been for years. Americans has at least as much reason to travel as anyone else. Except perhaps Pacman and maybe Mayweather, the highest paid fighters these days are fighting out of Germany. Wake up, dude.
The other three fighters from Denmark in the super-middleweight division are Mads Larsen (who?), Lolenga Mock (who?) and Fawaz Nasir (who?). What kind of fighter stays in his own country when this is his competition? What kind of poster compares staying in Denmark to fight with staying in the U.S. to fight? Perhaps one that talks out of his ass?
LOL.. Denmark has 5 mill people - yet during the past 5 years Mads Larsen was in the Ring top 10, Rudy Markussen too (he is in legal battle with Palle I think) was also in the Ring top 10. Let's investigate what have the US (a country of plus 200 million people) has had for the past 5 years? Manfredo? Pemberton, Lacy? That's it. Imo. All three would loose to Larsen prime for prime. Why would someone in a country that has Manfredo, Pemberton and Lacy wanna fight in that country? _____________ Anyway - if we look at Europe, because Kessler lives in Monaco and trains in Berlin, so he basically has Europe as his home. Then his home base has always had far more talent present than was present in the US - and Americans should travel to Europe.
Okay, so I picked a weight class that Americans have sucked at for a while (before now). Manfredo, Pemberton and Lacy have all been ranked high at one time though, nonetheless. Spin it any way you want, but the best of the best come to America. Madison Square Garden is not in Denmark. Neither is Vegas. And if Europe is Kessler's home, then your argument changes, and Kessler has REALLY never left home. You can't manipulate the argument and have it both ways. Nice try though.
