    Did I hear it correctly? He weighed 146-147 in his last fight? Or did JMM just misunderstand the question?

    His english got a little better, although he shoulda just had a translator
    for this interview. oh and did he say he weighed 146 in his last fight???

    Came into the ring weighing 146 thats after hitting the scales at 135... thats what i got from it

    And yet he's 142 now? That's weird. Maybe he thought he was being asked what he would weigh in the ring this coming weekend?

    he's 142 now, probably at the weigh in. he will be atleast 146-1148 fight night.

    He was probably talking about post-weighin wieght. Meaning that he weighed-in at 135, then rehydrated to 147.

    That is not unusual because fighters wants to fight fully or slightly overhydrated. This is to compensate for the fluid loss during the fight, especially under glaring and hot spotlight.

    Now, Mayweather would never weigh at 148 at fight time. Those are just propaganda or Press Releases. He was probably referring to that weight when he was at 135 or 140 division.
