Peter's days as being seen as a legit threat to the top heavies are over. If he were to start KOing some top 15 fighters, he may be able to regain a fraction of his former clout, but not much.

I think his *big comeback* will end when he gets in there with someone like Chagaev, Ibragimov, Ruiz, GOmez, etc.

I think there are alot of current heavies who'd beat Peter. But he is in a leaner condition, and you gotta commend him for that...........just a little too late to get serious, now.

Good to know he's back at 239lbs (pictures anyone?). Any top20 opponent would do. Arreola victims like Chaz Witherspoon and Walker would be good choices.

Peter vs Tua would be great but sad. If Tua were somehow to lose it would be embarassing for someone that good to lose to someone that limited

Being on the younger side of the spectrum and getting back into shape by dropping the extra lbs makes me think that Peter can still be a force in this division. So long as he avoids boxer types. I don't think he does well against boxer types (the Toney fights aside).

i think he's got a chance but i seriously wonder if he'll get past the journeyman stage on a non stop basis. he's never thrown a straight punch in his life, his defense and stamina suck and his power is only above average. he's intimidating, that's about it. he can't knock out the top and he can't outbox them. that doesn't leave much

Peter vs Tua makes the perfect sense to happen next If Tua wins his next fight though. If it happens i think Tua has a shot cause Peter is easy to hit and Tua hits harder with a better chin.

I'd suggest Gomez, Virchis, or the Ustinov-Boswell winner. After Odlanier's had a couple more fights, Peter-Solis would make sense, too.
