Ok il keep it real. The only reason why im watching TUF is because im rooting for Kimbo. Kimbo is nothing in the world of MMA. But these BITCHES on TUF are giving the guy agro already? Everyone wants a piece of him and is giving him a bad rap!? And for what? Because the guy got plucked from the streets by Gary Shaw and had the smarts to "break bread". Seriously i cant believe how bitchy they are. I hope Kimbo tears all of them a new one. Its unlikely but im rooting for him hard.

I think they are gunning for him so they can catapult their own careers off of beating him.

Also, if he wants to fight in the UFC, he shouldnt be allowed to have that beard.

    Im rooting for Nelson.

I hope Kimbo doesn't win, I cant be assed with the anti mma threads that would pop up.

There stupid then. Kimbo is a quite unique phenomenon. No fighters career will ever explode into anything off the back of a win over Kimbo. He has zero credentials in MMA. Everyone knows that. Guys like Shaw and Dana are only using him to put bums on seats mainly because of his background the way he looks and the fact that in an org like the UFC he's a marketing dream.

agreed, Ive always liked kimbo, he's a tough and respectful guy. the others are just envious and making themselves look bad.

To a degree, they're scared. To lose to Kimbo Slice is a great way to lose credibility, even though it's a fact of life that in any fight anybody can get lucky.

They also want to earn a few style points with hardcore MMA fans by being the one to take him out. I mean, who gave a damn about Seth Petruzelli before he embarrassed Kimbo on national television? Nobody. Now, he's a minor deity to some.

Seth is still a nobody and no one cares.

You need to venture out then, cause some people love the "Kimbo Killer".

Im with you Scur, I like rooting for the underdog. Have you watched the 1st episode? A lot of guys (coaches and fighters from both teams) have spoken positively about him (skill wise and as a person) during the build up, so I don't think he is as bad as a lot of people think.

I know Rampage and the some of the other coaches were very impressed with his ability to pick things up fast. Bottom line is if Kimbo gets a chance to make some money out of this good luck to him.

Kimbo's gonna do the Glass Joe dance in his second fight. But really, Kimbo shows a lot of class and has earned my respect. The way he reacted to Dana's disrespect shows he's actually more professional, and adult than most. I used to be a big time hater, but cant help but rooting for the guy.

Funny thing is, a very polished Kimbo could potentially look a lot like rampage. Mostly fist strikes on the inside with a defensive, countering style. IF Kimbo could pick some of that up, it would help him a lot.

Seems like a decent bloke. I've never seen him talking without an entourage in the background before, but here he seems a bit more down to earth, a bit more sensible and perhaps a bit brighter than I gave him credit for.

Kimbo isnt stupid by a long chalk. Matter of fact he's far smarter than people are giving him credit for. He's in this for one thing and thats to get paid. You cant fault a man for getting paid. He's a single father with a family of 6 kids. Gets props from me.
